Was cruising youtube and found this newer looking animated GI Joe deal. Its about an hour long and I enjoyed it. The death toll is pretty gigantic. Maybe they felt like making up for the original cartoon's over use of parachutes.


I found the whole thing to be worth a watch, but if you want instant gratification you can skip to the showdown between Snake Eyes and Storm Shadow.

I really, really liked the comic version of their battle. As cool as this animated fight is, the comic is even cooler. It is a real triumph of the medium.

The entire issue is completely without a single word of dialogue. They don't even encounter one another until right up at the end. There is the briefest exchange of blows, and Snake Eyes makes his escape. You see a rare bit of his skin, showing the red tattoo on his wrist. Lower on the page you can see how Storm Shadow's wrist was also exposed in the short fight, showing the exact same tat.
