For a few years at the tail end of the 90s, I put together a zine called Punk Pals Unwashed, with the cutesy tagline: "Mail from people who don't crochet." One of the other zinesters I traded with started sending me crocheted items. She taught me how to crochet after we got married. Link to Etsy store coming soon, maybe.
