Full disclosure: I haven't seen the second movie, but it would need to win an Oscar to make up for the first one.

X marked the Files, hidden, untouched. The show was hella awesome; the movies, not so much.

Next step is to make cute rhyming couplets for each entry. "Z is for zombies, all covered in gore. The awesome/cool alphabet ends here; there's no more."

The bit about IMAX almost had me suckered in, because they do such wacky things these days with special versions or Digital 3D or whatever. Wouldn't it be nice if some studios only did remakes? -- and then you could look for the studio logo on any…

See, I actually liked Black Hole (although the end is a bit confusing for a Disney flick).

The trailer I've seen for Tron Legacy leaves me cautiously optimistic about that film. Black Hole is not a "must have" for you DVD collection but I do reccomend watching it at least once. For its time the SFX weren't that bad. The story was a little…

About Me:
For a few years at the tail end of the 90s, I put together a zine called Punk Pals Unwashed, with the cutesy tagline: "Mail from people who don't crochet." One of the other zinesters I traded with started sending me crocheted items. She taught me how to crochet after we got married. Link to Etsy store coming soon, maybe.

I will be AFK 2PP for half of September.

Don't send out a search party. I'm not lost, just visiting in-laws. Should be back around Sep 21.

All My Product Are Belong To You

I probably won't post many entries to this blog, because my main one is at http://evilbobdayjob.tripod.com. Wonder if there's a way to hook this blog section on Dire Cafe to my blog RSS feed, so it can replay them here? Anyway, that's probably not possible, so the workaround is that if you're interested in checking out blog entries, please visit that site. Don't take it personally. I don't post blog entries on My Space either.

I've actually lived all over Texas. I lived in Galveston from June 1979-June 1981. I got to attend two cons in Houston. At least one was on the UofH campus.

Very cool time of life, if I may say so.

Hi, thanks. Yes, it's an apple pi(e)rate I made a few years ago. Nobody notices how boring the apple filling is if their piece of the pie has a bit of mustache and an eyepatch and a snaggled tooth.
