- I was born in Oakland CA, I grew up in NH, and I've also lived in Philadelphia PA. Right now I live and work in Oneonta NY while deciding what to do now that I've graduated from SUNY-Oneonta (B.S. Sociology/Philosophy). My hobbies include web-surfing, role-playing games of the pen, paper, & dice variety, watching cartoons, buying books "I know I'll read soon” & games "I know I'll play soon," occasionally cooking everything in the house, and trying to write, paint miniatures, & tie flies more often than I currently do.
But, mostly just watching cartoons. And surfing the Internet.
I have a, “propensity for colorful metaphor.” I would describe the better part of my childhood and teen years as idyllic New England Americana. I've worked as (in no particular order) a grocery clerk, auction runner, telephone operator, computer assembler, janitor, sales clerk, bookseller, desktop support technician, web developer, carriage driver and tour guide, shift manager at a (in)famous fast food restaurant, breakfast host/front desk/night auditor at a tiny link in a large hotel chain, Hospital Kitchen Aide, and ___?___!
