I set up a Twitter account and had it for all of 2 days. I didn’t appreciate the instant spam for porn. I’m sure it’s just a hazing thing that happens for new accounts, but I won’t support someplace where it happens so easily. I also didn’t like how you would only see part of conversations unless you happened to follow everyone involved (very strange). Might have to give in and try Facebook instead. Continue

Haiku 575 Returns

I don't think I've told everyone who (who may be interested)...I've been posting haikus again at http://575.tumblr.com/ ; however, this time I've done it differently in that I take a creative commons image and use it as inspiration for the haiku (the image links back to the source - so far Flickr's Creative Commons group). Real, dedicated Risus blog...

I went ahead and set up a "real" blog dedicated to Risus. I call it: Risus Thought of the Moment (or simply Risus TOTM). I followed the advice of the Dire King and made certain that this site is only about one thing - Risus Randomness ;-). I even applied for the RPG Bloggers Network thing (although I could see them turning me down since it is so new). Continue

You know, the more I think things over, I'm perfectly happy with Risus. So, instead of Unearthed Playgrounds being something to build an new RPG system (do we really need another one), I've set it up to be a place to build system-less settings/game worlds/adventures/modules/etc. Will this work? Unearthed Playgrounds Take 2

I don't know how much interest there is in such a thing, but I've set up Unearthed Playgrounds over with Google Sites. If you don't recall, Unearthed Playgrounds was with WetPaint (and then PBWiki), and it was a site where I was going to take parts I liked from old (but hopefully not forgotten) RPGS and build something new. Feeling Stupid

I'm a fairly regular poster on the RisusTalk list. Twice now, I've answered a rules question with bad answers (and it's not like Risus has a lot of rules to mess up).
