I had an epiphany in the shower this morning. Instead of just writing a review about a movie or DVD that the family has just seen, I plan to do something along the lines of His Dire Majesty's Bad Film and Dr. Checkmate's Mark of the Movie. Rather than making one long blog post that incorporates the review and RPG ideas, it'll be two seperate posts. In the case of a series of movies, Star Trek, Star Wars etc. I'll do the RPG ideas after the entire series has been reviewed.

Just checked with my credit card company today. Super 8 has rescinded the charge. The boycott against the chain has been lifted. The boycott against the Sheldon, Iowa branch still stands. The manager is a twit.

Just had to let everyone know. We got the results back on th biopsies of the removed lymph nodes. Of the sixteen nodes removed only four actually had any cancer. Mrs. VS is sleeping peacefully right now. The first unconcious smile on her face in days.

I am officially boycotting Super 8 Motels.
Some background, Last week the PITs, Mrs. VS and I were going to a Tae Kwon Do tournament in Sheldon IA (4 hours away). The original plan was to leave at 4:00am on Sat 10th. By Thursday (8th) evening we were debating about the feasability of getting a hotel room and began calling area hotels.

I do remember that it was one of my fellow Paladins who pointed me in the direction of this
conversion of Alderac's Stargate SG-1 rpg to the Savage system.
This conversion helped me out a lot, but after playing a mini-game with the PITs, I've discovered there some things lacking. I'll be blogging about my additions to Ron Fricke's work based on what we discovered during play.
