My first blog post (fFor no readily apparent reason...)

After having spent I-don't-know-how-many years web surfing, researching, reading blog posts, taking part in discussions (some serious, most light-hearted), I came to a sudden realization.

I've never written a blog post. Like... ever.

I've read them, commented on some, ignored many, and on very rare occasions, uttered some choice expletives in reply to someone's idea of wisdom (spelled: d-r-i-v-e-l) and carefully place the bookmarks to those sites in the Window's recycle bin.

... but until now, I've never actually written something to be read, commented on, igored or sworn at and deleted.

Seems like that would be a helluva build up for saying something profound, but it's the end of my work day and my brain is fried. I'll now go up, do a few dishes to make room for the dinner dishes, then, perhaps, think of something more to write.

Good first post (and kind of gets to the reason why I stopped my regular blog and just do haiku's and Risus stuff).
