Well, the 2nd gig is off to a different publisher. It was a 3k word project, they'll own the intellectual property on it if it's accepted. It was sent off about 3-4 weeks early just in case there are rewrites coming my way. Here's hoping that the polished draft will be good enough.

I always get nervous when I'm sending stuff out for either review, publication, opinions, etc. It's just the way I'm wired I guess. Granted, it was kind of like stripping…

So, my SO, we'll call her 'Betty' tells me, "If you ever get Aqua Velva, we're finished."

"You buy me Drakkar, because it smells nice," I retort, not understanding why she's going there.

"I've smelled Aqua Velva, it smells like poo."
